ODESSA/MIDLAND, TEXAS - Catholic youths from the world over, including one from Odessa and two from Midland, will assemble for World Youth Day and a Mass led by Pope Francis July 25-31 in Krakow, Poland.

Started in 1985 by Pope John Paul II and usually held every three years, the event draws millions and is considered a pilgrimage, said 23-year-old Nik Ruiz of Odessa, who also took part in the 2011 World Youth Day in Madrid, Spain ...
