MIDLAND, TEXAS - Members and visitors of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church gathered Wednesday evening for a special service. Led by the pastor, the Rev. Tommie Hale, “A Prayer Service for Love and Peace” was a response to the recent shootings of Philando Castile in Minneapolis and Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, as well as the July 7 attack on Dallas police at a protest that resulted in the deaths of five officers.
