Today in the PC-USA Mission Yearbook

The Mission Yearbook for Prayer and Study is a daily devotional with 365 inspiring mission stories that come from next door and all across the globe. It inspires thousands of Presbyterians daily as they uphold the mission of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in intercessory prayer.

LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN - For PC(USA) mission co-workers in Latin America and the Caribbean, doing the work of the Lord can mean serving in many ways. A few examples:
Preparing church and community leaders to respond to natural disasters in Nicaragua;
Helping farmers in Haiti produce more food so that Haitians can rely less on imports;
Developing programs that promote conflict resolution and peace throughout Central America.

In addition, the PC(USA) is resuming a full-time presence in Cuba, through the appointment of mission co-workers David Cortes-Fuentes and Josey Saez-Acevedo. They will be the first Presbyterian mission co-workers sent to live and work in Cuba since the 1959 revolution led by Fidel Castro ...
