In the News - Midland church part of latest community market

• Face Painting, Pumpkins, and Gorditas Oh My!

MIDLAND, TEXAS - This great stuff will be available at the Florida Ave. Market at Cogdell this Saturday September 21st from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.:

* Face painting, hair braids and manicures will be provided for FREE by the great Midland College Cosmetology Department.

* Pumpkins, in addition to their normal produce, will be sold by Mandujano Brothers Produce.

* Gorditas, a Mexican dish (pictured at right), will be sold by the Apostolic Assembly Church of Midland.

Organizers expect the high temperature during the event to be around 83 degree (the high on Saturday is 88 degrees).
