MIDLAND, TEXAS - MSS (formerly Midland Shared Spaces) hosted its second annual State of the Nonprofits luncheon on Wednesday at the Petroleum Club. The highlight of the event was the results of the MSS-commissioned study on the local nonprofit community. The study identified opportunities and challenges the sector faces now and in the future. A panel of speakers discussed the results and advised those in attendance on how tomorrow’s nonprofit leaders need to be cultivated today.

“That discussion, those conversations start here,” MSS executive director Autumn Vest said. “We hope it becomes a wave in the community that changes the way that nonprofits and for-profits collaborate.” ...
