ODESSA-MIDLAND, TEXAS - Philip Scherrer didn't know what to think Saturday afternoon when he saw an unmarked police vehicle driving near the Cinergy movie theater come to a complete stop on a highway with an 75 mph speed limit.

It wasn't until Scherrer got home that reality hit him. He had witnessed the start of a day of tragedy in West Texas ...
