In the News ... "Prayer gathering to come to Midland Center"

MIDLAND, TEXAS - Local churches are coming together to hold the first citywide, four-night prayer gathering in downtown Midland.

The "Awake 7:14" event, an ecumenical spiritual awakening, will be led each night by the Rev. Jim Denison, former First Baptist Church of Midland pastor and current director of the Denison Forum in Dallas.

Prayer services will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday at the Midland Center, 105 N. Main St.
