MIDLAND, TEXAS -
When the women at Mount Rose Baptist Church learned some Midlanders who receive a hot meal during the week don't have access to meals on the weekends, they decided to start an outreach program to meet the need.
On the third Saturday of each month, about 20 women with Hope Ministry gather to prepare, cook and serve a hot meal, salad and dessert to the homeless and homebound around Midland.
