ChinaAid: Pastor of a church in Heilongjiang beaten; a mission meeting in Shandong raided

The China Aid Association is a non-profit Christian organization - based in Midland, Texas - with a mission to uncover and reveal the truth about religious persecution in China, focusing especially on the unofficial church. They do this, they explain in their website, by exposing the abuses, encouraging the abused and equipping the saints to advance the kingdom of God throughout China.

HEILONGJIANG and SHANDONG, CHINA – On the morning of February 23, 2013, Beijing time, after the international media exposed the case in which a church in Youhao District of Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province was persecuted and its pastor of the church beaten by the police (February 19, 2013), personnel from the Youhao District Public Security Bureau and the agencies in charge of religious affairs went to “negotiate” with Pastor Sun Wenxian of Youhao Church.
