ODESSA, TEXAS - Storms across the state are having an impact on construction right here in west Texas.
First Baptist Church of Odessa was set to open its new worship center on December 15, but Pastor Byron McWilliams says because of the Texas ice storms, materials they needed to complete the building weren't delivered in time. Crews have not been able to finish the parking lot for the new sanctuary.
The first service is now set for December 22.
