ODESSA, TEXAS - When Nathan G. Lino stood up in front of the group attending the MCM Grande Hotel and FunDome for the annual Mayor Prayer Luncheon, he first talked about a recent trip to Iraq.

While there, Lino, who founded the Northeast Houston Baptist Church in 2002, said there were many similarities and differences between the Iraqi people and Texans.
