The Mission Yearbook for Prayer and Study is a daily devotional with 365 inspiring mission stories that come from next door and all across the globe. It inspires thousands of Presbyterians daily as they uphold the mission of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in intercessory prayer. How often have you wondered, where are the young adults in the PC(USA)? Wonder no longer. The 2014 Presbyterian Mission Yearbook for Prayer and Study is devoted to the theme of young adults in the church. Its stories, many told by young adults, lift up how Presbyterians of all ages are engaging and joining with Presbyterian young adults in reforming the church for Christ’s mission.

MINUTE FOR MISSION: OLDER ADULTS - McLeod Memorial Presbyterian Church in Bartow, Florida, honors the memory of Meddie Stuart McLeod, whose generosity to the community is legend. The congregation, though small in members, is known for its big heart.
Members are proud of their yearly local and international mission programs. They are grateful to deliver meals to over 70 shut-ins monthly, and their Christmas Project enables over 100 families and 150 children to enjoy the holiday. The congregation takes great satisfaction in the act of giving.
Older adults make up a majority of the congregation, but their wisdom and passion for mission has attracted younger families to the church.
