From @mmm_water ... 2019 Well Season: Daily Devotional

September 14 - October 28 is Marion Medical Mission Well Season for 2019. The season will include daily devotionals - one for each day the U.S. volunteers are overseas, sharing the love of Jesus by providing safe, clean, sustainable sources of drinking water to the extreme poor in sub-Saharan Africa. Marion Medical Mission is one of our mission partners at Grace Presbyterian Church of Midland, Texas, and we STRONGLY encourage you to read these devotions to learn more about - and pray for! - their mission.

FISHERS of PEOPLE
Isaac Tindi
MMM Field Office, Malawi

As Jesus was walking beside the sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. ‘Come, follow me,’ Jesus said, ‘and I will make you fishers of people.’ At once they left their nets and followed him.”
Matthew 4:18-20

Together and only together, we can be who God wants us to be. It is a pleasure to note that there are several people from different entities working to make the life of the local people better. This takes the love of Christ.

Remember Peter and Andrew were at work when Jesus said “come follow me,” and they stopped their own work and followed him.

Who would have gone with Jesus had they said ”we are busy,” like most of us today may say?

Application Question: Do we remember we are in the lake to win souls to Christ?

Prayer: Heavenly Father, You blessed us to bless, help us to remember that “it is never off-season winning lost souls to Your glory. Amen.
