In the News ... "Local Organization Helps Homeless Man Become Registered Nurse"

MIDLAND, TEXAS - "I got the crusading bug and decided I'd go out and help homeless people and the fact is, I ended up homeless myself."

Larry was a registered nurse for 18 years. A couple years ago, he gave up his career to help homeless people. It wasn't long before he'd used up his entire life savings on his mini-crusade.

"I found myself on the street with just the clothes on my back. I was living under a tarp," says Larry.

One day in May, he stumbled upon Church Under the Bridge ... he admits, at first, he just came for the food.
