MIDLAND, TEXAS - Mark Dean compared it to “seeing Christianity in high definition.”
He recently returned from his second biblical tour of Israel with Ray Vander Laan, a world-renowned teacher and Christian minister who has led more than 10,000 people on tours of the Holy Land to gain understanding of the historical and cultural context of the Bible.
Vander Laan is the founder of That the World May Know Ministries. He visited Midland in early December to lead a conference at Golf Course Road Church of Christ.
Dean, a teacher at Midland Christian School and a Midlander for the past five years, said he was “blown away” when he first encountered Vander Laan’s teachings in 2009.
