MIDLAND, TEXAS - Buckner Family Place will hold a ribbon-cutting and open house for its new facilities this morning as two new families move in. The additions to the nonprofit’s living space include an activity center and one new duplex featuring two three-bedroom apartments.

“We’re just thrilled that this stage is coming to a close and that it can be completed and fully up and running,” said Myndi Easter, Buckner gift officer. “Midland is such a generous community. We would not be able to serve these families and these ladies without the community standing behind us and this program.”

Easter said while all of the previously-built apartments on the site are two-bedroom, it had become clear the average family size of clients was more suited to a three-bedroom set-up ...”
