MIDLAND, TEXAS - The holiday season for many Midlanders means out-of-town trips to reunite with family around a dinner table filled with Thanksgiving turkey or Christmas ham.

But for the less fortunate in the community and the nonprofit organizations that serve them, the holidays can be a time of great need.
