ODESSA, TEXAS - The Odessa Police Department delivered Thanksgiving meals to needy families today.

This was the first year for the project and officers told the media that they look forward to continuing these efforts each year.

Donations were voluntarily collected at the police department to purchase the meals from Albertsons.

They were then delivered to families that were selected by local consulting agencies, ECISD, a police department chaplain and the victim assistance coordinator ...
