SYRIA - Despite the recent turmoil in much of the Middle East, a group of Presbyterian young adults, primarily from Syria, gathered in fellowship in fall 2012 at the Dhour Choueir Conference Center, a ministry of the National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon (NESSL). Proverbs 8:1—“Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding raise her voice?”—provided the theme of the conference.
