Today in the PC-USA Mission Yearbook

The Mission Yearbook for Prayer and Study is a daily devotional with 365 inspiring mission stories that come from next door and all across the globe. It inspires thousands of Presbyterians daily as they uphold the mission of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in intercessory prayer. IRAQ - To Abraham, the living God promised, “I will establish my covenant between me and you, and your offspring after you throughout their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you” (Gen. 17:7). In the ancient land from which Abraham came, the Presbyterian church in Iraq continues to bear testimony to God’s faithful covenant promises. Christian witness here dates to the apostolic era. Those early faithful disciples carried the gospel on to the lands of Arabia, Persia, India, and China. Many of these earliest churches still exist in Iraq.
