In the News ... "Salvation Army feeds on Thanksgiving"

ODESSA, TEXAS - It’s been three years since 52-year-old Bertha Williams arrived in Odessa and stayed briefly at the Salvation Army of Odessa, but she still goes to the church and the annual Thanksgiving meal.

The meal, hosted at 11 a.m. at the Salvation Army, welcomes all people in Odessa to have a Thanksgiving meal, complete with turkey, ham, stuffing, corn, and gravy, along with other sides.

Though it’s been three years, Williams said she feels close to the Salvation Army and continues to attend church there ...
